Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organised, and compliant with food safety regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen workspace throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation or as a Line Cook in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
