Job Purpose:
The Sales Administrator plays a key role in supporting all Sales Teams by delivering efficient administrative support and exceptional customer service. The role involves handling enquiries, managing sales administration processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a smooth customer journey from enquiry through to resolution.
Accountabilities / Main responsibilities
Operational Tasks
- Answer inbound customer telephone calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Make outbound calls to customers regarding; orders, deliveries, collections, returns, quotations and account follow ups.
- Resolve basic customer account queries, escalating where necessary.
- Process and co-ordinate customer collections and product returns.
- Support customers with online ordering portal setup, user administration, passwords resets and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and maintain shared email inboxes.
- Process customer orders, quotations and requests accurately.
- Maintain accurate customer records.
- Support the sales team with any general administration.
- Assist with account creation and onboarding.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer requests are completed efficiently.
Communications:
- Communicate professionally and promptly with customers and colleagues.
- Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a timely manner.
- Keep customers informed of progress on orders, returns, collections and account queries.
- Escalate issues where appropriate.
- Maintain positive working relationships across all departments.
Team Working
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Provide support to other team members during busy periods or absence.

Job Details:
- Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (30 minute lunch) 37.5hr per week
