This role provides technical and project support across the Trust, assisting with the delivery, deployment and ongoing use of approved technology, systems, devices and associated equipment. It supports the planning, coordination and monitoring of small projects, ensuring staff receive appropriate resources, guidance and technical input to meet service needs.
Working within the Technical Services team, the role helps deliver cost-effective, well-managed IT solutions for clinical and corporate services. This includes supporting users with technology implementation and use, resolving day-to-day and non-routine technical issues where appropriate, and providing practical support for devices, systems and equipment.
The role will liaise with internal teams, external suppliers and service providers to support Trust systems and agreed project delivery. It will also support asset management, including device deployment, usage reporting, audits, investigations and decommissioning in line with Trust policies and procedures.
The role requires flexibility to meet service needs, including visiting Trust sites to provide user support, undertake device audits and assist with local deployment activity. It supports high-quality IT service management, helping clinicians and staff access the tools they need to work effectively.

Work as part of the Technical Services team to support the delivery of cost-effective, well-managed IT solutions that meet the needs of clinical and corporate services.
Support staff with the deployment, implementation and use of approved technology, systems, devices and associated equipment, resolving day-to-day and non-routine technical issues independently where appropriate.
Liaise with internal teams, external system suppliers and service providers to support the maintenance of Trust systems and the successful delivery of agreed projects.
Support asset management activities, including device deployment, usage reporting, audits, investigations and decommissioning in line with Trust policies and procedures.
Provide technical and practical support for telecommunications, mobile devices and user-reported issues, including the analysis of reporting data to support effective device usage, management and service improvement.
Contribute to the delivery of high-quality Technology and Information Service Management, helping to ensure that clinicians and other staff have reliable access to tools they need to carry out their duties effectively.
Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including visiting Trust sites across Derbyshire
