We are looking for someone with solid experience in the garage repair trade to take on a key role in our family-run, independent garage in Marsh Barton. You’ll combine your technical expertise and keen interest in cars with your customer service skills to work alongside our receptionist team.
About the Role:
You will use your hands-on experience and industry knowledge to price jobs accurately, and advise customers on technical aspects. This is an exciting opportunity to move away from the workshop environment while still applying your mechanical know-how. You'll be the vital link between customers, the workshop, and suppliers, ensuring the job gets done right.
What You’ll Do:
Pricing & Job Estimates: Use your technical knowledge to accurately price up jobs, providing clear, reliable estimates.
Parts Ordering: sourcing and ordering parts and liaise with suppliers, ensuring quick and accurate delivery.
Customer Interaction: Offer expert advice on repairs and maintenance.
What You Need:
Strong experience in the motor trade, mechanical and workshop experience is essential.
Proven ability to price and quote jobs with technical accuracy.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Experience in customer service, with a focus on providing clear, helpful advice.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn the online computer system.
Work well in a team, and able to liaise with the workshop.
A full UK driving licence.
