Window Cleaner – Trainee / Subcontractor with Full-Time Progression Training Pay: £13.00 per hour Full-Time Pay: 40% of the value of work completed Hours: Initially part-time for training, progressing to full-time Typical Full-Time Hours: 8:00am–5:00pm Location: Glasgow and surrounding areas Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required Vehicle: Company vehicle provided for work use once fully trained About the Role We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated person to join our growing window cleaning business. The role will initially begin on a part-time basis for training, where you will learn our window cleaning systems, customer service standards, routes and how to complete work safely and efficiently. During the training period, you will be paid £13 per hour. Once fully trained and able to complete work independently to the required standard, you will have the opportunity to move into full-time work paid at 40% of the value of the work you complete. For example: £400 worth of work completed = £160 pay This pay structure rewards productivity and gives you the opportunity to increase your earnings as you become more experienced and efficient. A company vehicle will be provided for work use once fully trained, along with the equipment required to complete the work. No previous window cleaning experience is required, as full training will be provided. Responsibilities - Residential window cleaning using water-fed pole systems - Completing established window cleaning rounds - Driving between customers using a company vehicle - Working independently once fully trained - Providing a friendly and professional service to customers - Completing work safely and to a high standard - Looking after company equipment and vehicle - Managing your daily workload efficiently - Reporting any access, customer or equipment issues - Maintaining good timekeeping and reliability What We're Looking For You should be: - Reliable and punctual - Hardworking and self-motivated - Physically fit and comfortable with an active job - Comfortable working outdoors throughout the year - Friendly and professional with customers - Able to work independently - Careful and respectful around customers' homes and property - Willing to learn - Confident driving a van - Looking for a long-term opportunity A full UK driving licence is essential. Previous experience in window cleaning, cleaning, deliveries, landscaping, construction or other outdoor/manual work would be useful, but is not required. Pay & Progression Training Period Part-time training at: £13 per hour Once Fully Trained Progression to full-time work paid at: 40% of the value of work completed Example: £400 of completed work = £160 pay Typical full-time working hours are approximately 8:00am–5:00pm. Once fully trained, a company vehicle and window cleaning equipment will be provided for work use. There is also the potential for further responsibility and progression as the business continues to grow.
