Contracts Manager – Passive Fire Protection

Salary: £40-45,000 + Car Allowance + Fuel Card + Bonus Opportunity (up to 25%)

As our Fire East Anglia Branch continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple passive fire protection projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge of passive fire works who enjoys leading teams, building client relationships and delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
What You'll Be Doing
As Contracts Manager, you'll take ownership of multiple passive fire protection contracts from mobilisation through to completion. You'll work closely with Site Managers, operatives, subcontractors and clients to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety and customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing multiple passive fire protection projects across East Anglia.
- Leading and supporting Site Managers, operatives and subcontractors.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to specification.
- Preparing quotations, project plans and budgets.
- Monitoring project performance, quality, productivity and programme delivery.
- Carrying out regular site visits, inspections and operational audits.
- Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring customer expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Managing contract costs, progress and reporting any risks or variances.
- Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Supporting recruitment, development and performance management of site teams.
- Promoting Bell's values and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism across every project.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- SMSTS qualification.
- Experience managing passive fire protection projects, including Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) related works.
- Driving Licence
- Experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Experience supervising Site Managers, operatives and subcontractors.
- Ability to prepare quotations, budgets and project plans.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
Desirable
- ASFP Level 2 qualification.
- FDIS qualification.
- Advanced technical knowledge of passive fire protection.
