Restaurant Supervisor – The Oak at Curthwaite
The Oak at Curthwaite is looking for an energetic and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to lead our friendly food and beverage team.
This is a hands-on role overseeing the restaurant’s day-to-day operations and ensuring that every guest receives excellent food, attentive service and a warm welcome. You’ll support and inspire the team while maintaining high standards across the restaurant, bar and kitchen.
Working Pattern
Shifts are mainly worked across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with Monday to Thursday off, offering an excellent work-life balance within the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant, food service and bar operations.
- Lead, support and motivate the team to provide outstanding hospitality.
- Coordinate food preparation and service to maintain quality and consistency.
- Organise staff schedules, delegate duties and monitor team performance.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene and sanitation requirements are followed.
- Train and support new team members in service, bar and hospitality procedures.
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries or concerns.
- Help create a welcoming atmosphere and memorable experience for every guest.
Skills and Experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a busy restaurant, pub or hospitality environment.
- A good understanding of food preparation, kitchen operations and service standards.
- Experience in bar work, bartending or table service.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and responsible food-handling practices.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- A friendly, professional and hands-on approach.
- Barista experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

Pay: £14.00-£16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
