A great opportunity has arisen to join Kings Park, a well-maintained and friendly private residential estate nestled behind Sovereign Marina. Kings Park is an 18-acre private estate comprising 181 individually owned freehold bungalows.
We are looking for a reliable, organised and personable individual to join our on-site administration team. The successful applicant will work alongside an administrator, reporting directly to the Board of Directors.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, a professional approach and enjoy working as part of a team. Previous experience in property management, estate administration or a similar role is required.
The Role
This is a part-time position of 24 hours per week, working three days per week, based in our on-site offices. £26,000 pro-annum, pro-rata.
The role will include a varied range of administrative, property and estate management responsibilities, including:
- Using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook with a reasonable level of confidence.
- Using accounting software such as Xero or similar for purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliations, invoicing and billing. Software-specific training will be provided.
- Liaising with and managing contractors, including setting targets, monitoring progress and checking completed work.
- Carrying out regular inspections of the estate.
- Reporting on the condition of communal areas, buildings and property, and identifying any maintenance or other issues.
- Maintaining clear and accurate records of work, inspections and ongoing maintenance.
- Processing planning requests and arranging site visits
- Communicating professionally with residents, contractors, the Board and other relevant parties.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running and maintenance of the estate.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
- Friendly and approachable, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confident working as part of a small team.
- Comfortable communicating with contractors, residents and the Board of Directors.
- Able to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- A reasonable level of proficiency using Microsoft Office and willing to learn new software.
- Ideally experienced in property management, estate administration, facilities management or a similar environment.
Hours
- Part-time: 24 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- 9am-5pm
- 3 days per week
- The role is based at the Kings Park on-site offices.
- 3-month probationary period.
