Responsibilities
- Offer personalised support to children, ensuring their emotional, social, and developmental needs are met with enthusiasm and care
- Mentor children through daily activities, encouraging positive behavior and confidence-building
- Assist with educational activities, including teaching basic skills and supporting homework or learning exercises
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to develop tailored support plans that promote each child's progress
- Create a safe, welcoming environment by monitoring activities and maintaining clear communication with children at all times
- Support children during outings or recreational activities, ensuring safety and engagement at all times
- Document observations and progress notes accurately to track development milestones and inform future planning
Requirements
- Experience working with young people in educational, childcare, or support roles is highly desirable
- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young individuals
- Knowledge of teaching methods suitable for children’s developmental stages
- Excellent communication skills to build trusting relationships with children, families, and team members
- Ability to remain energetic, patient, and adaptable in a dynamic environment
- A genuine passion for supporting children's growth and well-being
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in childcare or education are a plus but not mandatory
