Duties
- Undertake vehicle repairs and servicing as instructed to the highest standard of workmanship.
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete repairs and installations
- Liaise with and assist technicians when necessary.
- Ensure WIP’s deadlines
- Maintain work areas, tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition observing health and safety procedures.
- Excellent customer service essential.
- Gain authorisation from colleagues to carry out additional work.
- Undertake any training that would be beneficial to both business and personal needs.
Skills
- You will need to be either newly qualified or carrying out your level 3 qualification
- Basic Mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Be able to work supervised in a well-equipped workshop as well as be a Team Player and assist colleagues as and when necessary.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for various tasks
- Great communication skills
- Customer focused, able to keep customers experience and safety in mind throughout the service and repair
- A full UK drivers’ licence is advantageous for this role but not essential.
Note: Heavy lifting may be required in this role.
