Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Domiciliary care worker care to provide personalised support to individuals within their own homes. The successful candidate will assist clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence. Duties
- Provide personalised care and support to clients in their own homes, following individual care plans.
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
- Accompany clients on outings or appointments, ensuring their safety during travel.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition.
- Ensure the safety of clients by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals regarding care needs and progress.
Requirements
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience working within a care home or providing home care services is desirable.
- Ability to understand and follow individual care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Good organisational skills to manage daily schedules efficiently.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings.
