Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and presentation.
- Assist in the organisation and management of specific sections within the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Support the team during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of meals.
- Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines provided by senior chefs.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or needs to the head chef.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
