Job Summary
This is an exciting and highly important role within our setting, offering the opportunity to make a real impact in a leadership capacity. Happy Learners recently received Strong in all Areas under the New Inspection Framework and we are now expanding our Leadership tiers.
You will be the Room Manager & Leader of our Kinder Room (2yrs - 5yrs). This Room is a micro-nursery operation in itself, with 50 children enrolled across the week. The role is for a candidate with existing leadership experience and would suit a current Deputy or Middle Leader looking for their next step. The role is open to Early Years Educators, Early Years Teachers and Primary Qualified Teachers looking to embed our 'ambitious curriculum' (Ofsted) - and their own passion and skills - through a thriving, and happy, community of families and team players.
You will be a strong, ambitious practitioner with existing leadership skills or the confidence, creativity and people-skills to make your next step into a leadership role.
Happy Learners Day Nursery is one of the most exciting nurseries in Hove - an inspiring, and dynamic Nursery that offers children and their parents an exceptional standard of childcare and education. The Nursery is privately run and is inspired by Nordic approaches to education and a pedagogy that emphasises professional love and care, active learning and nurturing of each unique child. We opened in September 2023 and are delighted to be growing quickly - our community recognises the passion we are bringing to Early Years in the Hove Park area!
The Director is forward-thinking and committed to being an employer of choice and has created a small team that is equally passionate, driven and dedicated and is now expanding that team. Our Management team is highly qualified and committed to finding wonderful individuals, who can give children and parents purposeful and encouraging support that exceeds expectations. This is an exciting time to join a unique and growing organisation. We work with leading nutrition and child development experts, creating an influential (and fun!) curriculum alongside a culture of staff support, development and inclusivity.
