The Role
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Unit Logistics Manager to lead and manage Activities in our central production hub. This is a key role within our production unit, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene are consistently maintained across all areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of kitchen porters
- Ensure the production kitchen is maintained to a 5-star standard at all times
- Oversee all wash-up operations, ensuring efficiency and hygiene compliance
- Manage cleaning processes for all kitchen equipment, utensils, and service items
- Ensure all event equipment is returned, cleaned, and stored correctly after weddings and events
- Oversee cleaning of catering vans (internal areas) following event use
- Maintain cleanliness across all food prep and service areas
- Ensure adherence to health & safety and food hygiene regulations
- Support the wider kitchen and events teams where required
- Deliver buffets to customer as and when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a kitchen porter or logistics role (senior or supervisory experience preferred)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and organise a team
- High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
- A proactive, can-do attitude
