Role: Technical Lead NextGen
Sheffield, UK
6 Months contract
Rate: 65 GBP per hour Inside IR35
Experience 7 to 11
Responsibilities
- Own the technical solution architecture for the assigned IAM workstream
- Define maintain and govern HighLevel Designs HLDs and LowLevel Designs LLDs
- Lead technical decisionmaking architecture reviews and technology selection activities
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture security standards and regulatory requirements
- Drive adoption of Zero Trust and Identityfirst architecture principles
- Provide technical leadership guidance and mentoring to engineering teams
- Review solution designs application code and infrastructure changes
- Manage technical risks assumptions dependencies and integration challenges
- Coordinate technical activities across internal teams and thirdparty suppliers
- Support planning estimation solution delivery and implementation activities
- Define and validate nonfunctional requirements including availability resilience performance scalability observability and security
- Ensure solutions are productionready supportable and operationally compliant
- Participate in architecture governance forums design authorities and technical steering committees
- Promote engineering excellence DevSecOps practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Architecture Engineering Security Operations and business stakeholders
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Strong technical leadership and solution architecture experience
- Experience delivering complex enterprise IAM solutions
- Knowledge of Enterprise Identity and Access Management IAM
- Experience with Authentication Authorization and Identity Lifecycle Management
- Understanding of Human Identity NonHuman Identity Agent Identity and Workload Identity
- Strong knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture principles
- Experience with PolicyasCode and security governance practices
- Knowledge of Secrets Management and Certificate Lifecycle Management
- Experience securing APIs and implementing API Security controls
- Understanding of EventDriven Architectures and Identity Integrations
- Knowledge of CloudNative Security and modern cloud platforms
- Experience with Observability Monitoring Logging and Auditing solutions
- Strong understanding of Secure Software Development Lifecycle SSDLC
- Experience with DevSecOps Automation and Production Readiness practices
- Strong Stakeholder Management Communication and Facilitation skills
- Experience working in regulated Financial Services environments
- Ability to lead crossfunctional teams across Architecture Engineering Security Operations and external suppliers
