Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fire and Security Engineer to join our team! Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive security system designs, including Fire/intruder alarms CCTV, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and telecommunication networks.
- Conduct thorough system analysis using schematics, system design documents, and technical drawings to ensure optimal security coverage.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware components such as computer hardware, electrical systems, and power supplies.
- Perform routine maintenance on security equipment using hand tools and power tools to ensure continuous operation.
- Collaborate with construction teams during installation phases, providing mechanical knowledge and electrical expertise to integrate security systems seamlessly.
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities, responding promptly with appropriate measures.
- Document all system configurations, schematics, and maintenance activities for compliance and future reference.
Skills
- Strong understanding of computer networking principles and protocols essential for securing digital infrastructure.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with construction experience to facilitate installation and troubleshooting of physical security hardware.
- Proficiency with computer hardware components and electrical systems to support system setup and repairs.
- Experience with BAFE NSI FIRE AND INTRUDER ALARMS CCTV systems, including camera placement, wiring, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with schematics, system design documents, and telecommunication layouts for effective implementation.
- Knowledge of IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) for real-time threat detection and response.
- Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely during installation or maintenance tasks.
