Envision Education is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Hemel Hempstead. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm, with September 2026 starts available.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and making a positive impact in the classroom. You will work closely with teachers to support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development, helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities

Support pupils individually, in small groups, and within the classroom.

Assist the class teacher with delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.

Support children with a range of learning abilities and additional needs where required.

Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials.

Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Follow safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies at all times.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

A minimum of 3 months' UK experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare, tutoring, sports coaching, youth work, or similar setting.

A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A proactive, enthusiastic, and reliable approach.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
