We are looking for professional, reliable and experienced SIA-licensed Door Supervisors to join our in-house security team working across busy licensed hospitality venues in Newcastle city centre.

- Checking ID and applying Challenge 25 procedures
- Supporting the venue's admission and refusal policies
- Identifying intoxicated, vulnerable or potentially problematic customers
- Preventing and de-escalating conflict wherever possible
- Responding professionally to incidents
- Protecting customers, employees and other members of the security team
- Monitoring internal areas and maintaining safe customer movement
- Supporting customer welfare and safeguarding procedures
- Recording refusals, incidents and other relevant information accurately
- Working closely with venue management
- Assisting emergency services and police when required

- Remain calm and controlled when dealing with difficult situations
- Understand that de-escalation and prevention come before physical intervention
- Be comfortable working in busy late-night environments
- Maintain high standards of personal presentation
- Work effectively as part of a disciplined security team
- Be prepared to follow detailed company security policies and operating procedures
Previous experience in nightclubs, late bars or high-capacity licensed premises is preferred, although strong candidates with the right attitude and training will also be considered.
The Standard We Expect
We are looking for professional security personnel — not aggressive door staff.
Our security teams are expected to be approachable with customers, firm when necessary and capable of making good decisions under pressure.
Unnecessary confrontation, excessive force, discriminatory behaviour, inappropriate customer contact, mobile phone use while on duty and unprofessional conduct will not be accepted.
