247 Airport Transfer is a reputable London-based minicab company providing professional transport services, including airport, port and station transfers, as well as Home-to-School transport for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Due to growing demand from the local authorities we work with, we are expanding our school transport team and are looking for reliable, professional and caring PCO-licensed Minicab Drivers across South-East and West London.
We are particularly interested in drivers based in or near:
South-East London:
Lewisham and Greenwich
West London:
Hounslow, Ealing and Slough
Are you looking for regular work that can be combined with additional private hire jobs? If you are friendly, dependable and a good communicator, we would be pleased to hear from you.
The Role
You will be transporting children to and from school during term time, primarily on weekday mornings and afternoons.
Schedule: Weekday mornings and afternoons – term time
School run earnings: £300–£600 per week
Additional work: Airport transfers and local/private hire journeys
School run drivers are given priority for airport job allocations, allowing you to supplement your income before, between and after your school runs.
You may work alongside a Passenger Assistant where required, ensuring that each child has a safe, comfortable and friendly journey. Clear and professional communication with parents, schools, Passenger Assistants and our internal team is essential.
What We’re Looking For
- You live in or near Lewisham, Greenwich, Hounslow, Ealing or Slough
- You hold a valid London PCO Licence (Private Hire Driver Licence)
- You are friendly, reliable and professional
- You have your own licensed vehicle, ideally no more than 5 years old, allowing you to take additional airport and local jobs
- You have no more than 6 points on your UK driving licence
- You hold a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate
- Previous experience with school transport or SEN children is an advantage
- MIDAS or an NVQ in Road Passenger Transport is an advantage; training can be provided
