We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver - Class 2 to join our dynamic logistics team. Driving and Knowledge of London is essential for this role.
We would like to train the succesful candiate to become a Moffett Truck driver after succesfully completing of probation period, this will in turn result in a pay rise.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 2 truck, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload of materials.
- Drive route schedules efficiently, managing time effectively to meet delivery deadlines
- Handle various types of freight,
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on trucks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for all shipments
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class 2 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in truck driving, especially in delivery roles involving freight transportation
- Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety procedures for commercial driving
- Strong physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude toward customer service
