Rutledge Recruitment is currently seeking Hygiene Operatives to join the evening shift at a busy meat production facility based in Cullybackey, Ballymena.
Role Overview
As a Hygiene Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the production facility. This is a physically demanding role involving heavy cleaning duties to ensure food production areas meet strict hygiene and food safety standards.
Working Hours
- Sunday to Thursday
- 5:00pm–1:30am
- Finishing times may vary depending on workload and operational requirements
- Enhanced overtime rates available once 40 hours have been completed
Pay Rate
- Starting from £13.66 per hour
Duties Include
- Thorough cleaning of production areas, equipment and machinery
- Using hoses and carrying out heavy cleaning duties
- Following strict food hygiene, sanitation and Health & Safety procedures
- Safely using cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with training provided
- Working independently and as part of a team to maintain hygiene standards
- Reporting any issues or maintenance concerns to supervisors
- Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to the required standard
Requirements
- Previous factory production or industrial cleaning experience is desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out heavy cleaning duties
- Own transport is desirable due to the location
