We are hiring and looking for a new team member!
We are looking for an experienced plant mechanic to work on our fleet of modern earthmoving machinery. You will be working on a range of modern plant including JCB, Caterpillar, Volvo, Bell, Liebherr and Bomag.
You will be based at our workshop at Ambergate, Derbyshire with mobile repairs on site when required utilizing company transport.
Day to day duties will include but are not limited to:
> Undertake scheduled servicing of plant.
> Complete all required paperwork records
> Diagnose and repair faults to a high standard
> Use tools and specialist equipment as required
This is a full time position with good rates of pay and overtime available including some Saturday mornings. Full PPE will also be provided.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Plant Fitter or similar role
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Ability to diagnose and repair machinery and equipment
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in construction
- Relevant certifications in plant maintenance or mechanical engineering
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £17.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
