Mughal Driving School is an established and growing driving school providing professional manual and automatic driving lessons, intensive courses, driving test preparation and instructor training across Derby and surrounding areas. As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a proactive Financial Accounts Manager to strengthen our financial management and support our long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare management accounts, budgets, cash-flow forecasts and financial reports.
- Monitor and reconcile income from driving lessons, intensive courses, block bookings and other training services.
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, banking transactions and financial reconciliations.
- Analyse business performance, instructor costs and operating expenses, providing recommendations to improve profitability.
- Oversee payroll information, VAT records and statutory financial reporting.
- Maintain effective financial controls, accounting procedures and compliance with HMRC requirements.
- Support financial planning for fleet expansion, instructor recruitment and business growth.
- Liaise with external accountants and provide financial reports to the Directors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and management accounting.
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.
Skilled Worker visa sponsorship may be available for suitable candidates who meet the relevant eligibility requirements.
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
