Job Title: Warehouse Operative – Picker / Packer / Loader
Contract: Permanent Contract (immediate start)
Hours: Monday–Friday | No Weekends or Evenings
Varied shifts between 6:00am – 6:00pm | Minimum 42 hours per week
Location: Otterdene Limited, Hitchcocks Business Park, Willand, EX15 3FG
We are looking for reliable, hardworking, and detail-focused Warehouse Operatives to join our growing team at our modern 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Willand.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly and supportive team, helping to ensure customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

About the Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our warehouse operations. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders, preparing shipments, and supporting general warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking orders accurately using printed pick sheets
- Packing products securely and efficiently for dispatch
- Preparing pallets for shipment
- Loading vans and unloading incoming deliveries
- Carrying out quality control checks
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse, picking, packing, or similar experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Effective time management and ability to work to deadlines
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
- Friendly and professional team attitude
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling tasks
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Hours of Work
Standard hours below, these may vary due to seasonal trends of the business, (eg. start an hour earlier & finish an hour earlier), we don’t work weekends or evenings.
- January 8:00am to 5:00pm
- February 7:30am to 5:00pm
- March to September 7:00am to 5:00pm
- October to December 8:00am to 5:00pm
(4:30pm finish on all Fridays)
