GAP Metal Ltd are a busy, family owned sheet metal & fabrication company based in Hailsham, East Sussex with over 40 years of experience in the industry.
We currently have a full-time, permanent vacancy for a Welder to join our existing team.
The candidate must have experience in TIG or MIG welding, predominantly in steel, stainless steel and aluminium and have the ability to understand engineering drawings.
Whilst supervision would be given, the candidate must be able to manage their personal workload to complete projects in a timely manner. Good attention to detail and an understanding of quality requirements is a must.
We have also recently acquired a Laser Welder, for which full training would be given to a willing candidate.
This position is workshop based only and benefits include overtime, on-site parking & company pension.
Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm with regular overtime as required.
Competitive hourly rate dependent on experience.
