Derwent Manor Boutique Hotel is looking for a Food & Beverage Team Leader for our Antler Bar, this is the main hotel bar and function bars.
The candidate will ideally be outgoing, passionate and driven to provide top level customer service on a daily basis, as well as working alongside the supervisor, and manager, to improve and maintain, an already great team.
As a Food & Beverage Team Leader you will be required to:
- support the manager in running a smooth shift
- allocate duties and monitor staff performance during shifts
- train, manage and motivate staff
- report any shortages or replenishment needs to the Bar Manager
- report equipment issues and coordinate with management for resolution
- respond to customer queries and complaints
- set up the bars and lounge areas ready for service and events
- close down and open the bars to our high standard
- ensuring daily and weekly cleaning tasks are completed
- assist in weekly line cleans of our bars
- work alongside the kitchen team to ensure our guests get the best service and food
- meet and greet customers
- organise table reservations and offer advice about menu choices, be it food or drink
- maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
- check stock levels, order supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash
- promote upselling of premium products, cocktails, and specials
- ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health, and safety policies
- supporting our restaurant and event spaces when needed and required
