About the Role
BGMS BD UK is seeking a skilled IT Security Specialist to help protect the organization's systems, networks, applications, and data from evolving cybersecurity threats. The successful candidate will support security monitoring, risk management, incident response, and the continuous improvement of security controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor systems and networks for security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct security assessments and risk analysis.
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
- Implement and maintain security controls and policies.
- Support vulnerability management and remediation activities.
- Monitor security logs and investigate suspicious activity.
- Assist with security audits and compliance requirements.
- Promote cybersecurity awareness across the organization.
- Maintain security documentation and incident records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Professional experience in IT security or cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of network, endpoint, and application security.
- Knowledge of security monitoring and vulnerability-management practices.
- Strong analytical and incident-response skills.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, or equivalent are an advantage.
