Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves , serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their visit. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are equally important. The Server will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our establishment while creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of tables before, during, and after service
- Handle guest enquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services at all times
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients and food safety procedures
- Process payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash or card transactions securely
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques
- Experience in food preparation or culinary environments is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions confidently
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue generation
