Part‑Time Sales Assistant – Unicorn Saddlery (Minimum 3 days per week)
Location: Hatch Beauchamp, Taunton
Hours: Minimum of 3 days per week, including Saturdays, with flexibility to cover holidays and sickness
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Unicorn Saddlery is a busy, friendly equestrian retail store looking for a part‑time Sales Assistant to join our team. We’re looking for someone who is confident, customer‑focused, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced retail environment. Equestrian knowledge is helpful but not essential — full training is provided.
About the Role
As a Sales Assistant, you will:
- Provide warm, helpful customer service
- Assist customers with product advice and fittings (training provided)
- Operate the till and handle transactions accurately
- Help with stock replenishment, deliveries, and merchandising
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shop environment
- Work as part of a supportive, friendly team
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Friendly, approachable, and confident with customers
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work Saturdays
- Flexibility to cover holidays and sickness when needed
Desirable:
- Retail experience
- Equestrian knowledge or experience with horses
