A family in Cardiff is looking for a part-time nanny who loves working with children and wants a role that fits comfortably around weekday afternoons.
They’d love to find someone who’ll feel at home in their routine. Most afternoons you might be doing the school run past the familiar buzz of Llandaff, wandering through Bute Park for a bit of fresh air, or heading back to the house for crafts, baking or a quick board game before tea. Some days you might stop by Roath Park to stretch little legs, other days it might be a cosy afternoon indoors helping with homework and simple meals.
Because the part time job is managed by Koru Kids, you’ll have plenty of support:
- Pay from £12.21 - £14.75 per hour depending on experience, always paid correctly and on time
- Contracts, holiday pay and sick pay handled for you
- Free nanny training, first aid training, enhanced DBS check and insurance (worth over £300)
- Ongoing development with free CACHE registered courses and personal 1:1 coaching
You’ll fit this family well if:
- You’ve worked with children before, perhaps as a babysitter, volunteer or au pair
- You’re a trained childcare professional with experience in nurseries or schools
- You’ve raised your own children and miss the rhythm and warmth of family life
