Delivery Consultant | M&E Construction Recruitment
Central London | £27,000 – £32,000 basic + commission
Got 6–12 months recruitment experience but not completely sold on the market you're currently recruiting into?
Or maybe you enjoy recruitment, but you've realised you're much stronger on the candidate side than you are spending your day trying to win new business?
I'm working with an established recruitment business in Central London that's looking for a Delivery Consultant to join its M&E Construction team.
You don't need previous M&E or construction recruitment experience.
They're completely open on the sector you're coming from. What they're looking for is someone who already understands recruitment, knows how to find good candidates and wants to develop within a specialist market.
What will you be recruiting?
You'll be working within the M&E Construction market, supporting experienced consultants with permanent vacancies and building candidate networks across the sector.
Your role will focus on:
- Sourcing and headhunting candidates
- Speaking to passive candidates within the M&E construction market
- Screening and qualifying candidates
- Managing multiple permanent vacancies
- Building long-term relationships with candidates
- Managing candidates from initial conversation through to offer
- Working closely with experienced consultants on live client requirements
- Building targeted talent pools within your market
This isn't a trainee role, so they do want someone who already has the basics.
But equally, they're not expecting you to arrive knowing everything about M&E Construction.
You'll be given the training and support to learn the market.
Who are they looking for?
Ideally, you'll have around 6–12 months agency recruitment experience.
Your previous recruitment sector is completely open.
More importantly, you'll be someone who:
- Enjoys the candidate side of recruitment
- Is confident picking up the phone and headhunting
- Can build good relationships with candidates
- Is organised and comfortable managing multiple roles
- Wants to properly learn a specialist market
- Is ambitious and wants a clear route to progress
Where can it take you?
This is probably one of the biggest selling points.
You can progress through Delivery Consultant, Senior Delivery Consultant and Principal Delivery Consultant, or eventually move across into Account Management, 360 recruitment or management.
So you're not committing yourself to being a Delivery Consultant forever.
The business also offers:
- Central London office
- WFH Fridays
- Gym membership
- Monthly company celebrations and prizes
- International company trips
- LinkedIn Recruiter
- Ongoing training and development
- Results-based promotions
- Strong earning potential and commission
If you've got your first 6–12 months in recruitment behind you and want to move into a specialist market where you can actually build a career, I'd love to speak to you.
