Trixxy’s is a brand-new entertainment venue combining a premium retro-inspired bar with the thrill of Laser Quest. Designed around the fast-growing competitive socialising market, we’re creating a venue where great drinks, quality bar food, immersive entertainment and outstanding customer service come together.
We’re looking for an experienced, energetic and hands-on Bar Manager to help launch and lead one of Manchester’s most exciting new hospitality venues.
About the Role
As Bar Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the bar, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive until the last drink is served.
You’ll lead from the front, motivate your team, maintain high standards, and help build a venue that people can’t wait to return to.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead and inspire the bar team to deliver outstanding customer service.
● Recruit, train and develop a high-performing team.
● Manage stock ordering, stock control and minimise wastage.
● Ensure the venue is presented to an exceptional standard at all times.
● Create a fun, energetic atmosphere that reflects the Trixxy’s brand.
● Drive drink sales and maximise profitability.
● Work alongside the kitchen and Laser Quest teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.
● Ensure compliance with all licensing, health & safety and food hygiene regulations.
● Manage rotas, labour costs and daily financial reporting.
● Resolve customer issues professionally and positively.
● Support the planning and delivery of themed nights, music events, parties and corporate functions.
What We’re Looking For
● Previous experience managing a busy bar or hospitality venue.
● A natural leader who enjoys motivating people.
● Excellent organisational and communication skills.
● Strong commercial awareness with experience managing costs and GP.
● Passion for creating memorable customer experiences.
● Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
● Personal Licence Holder (preferred but not essential).
● Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
