Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Elderly Care Home Manager to lead our Outstanding-rated 74-bedded home at Howard Lodge Care Centre. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional care standards, and supporting our mission to put residents first. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop, implement, and review care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Supervise and support care staff to deliver compassionate and professional care.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication.
- Monitor quality of care and implement improvements as needed.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents and staff.
- Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and resident empowerment.
- Qualifications
- Proven management experience within a residential care home setting.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer's care.
- Experience with medication administration and care planning.
- Compassionate approach with a commitment to high standards of resident care.
- Relevant qualifications in health or social care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 or equivalent).
- Ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements within the UK elderly care sector.
