Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the welfare facilities on a building site. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
Hours of Work
- Phase 1: 8:00 am - 10:00am every Thursday until the 5th of October 2026
- Phase 2: 3-5 hours, every Monday; Wednesday and Friday. Hours/Days TBC from client. Due to complete 2028.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, toilets and communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and sanitised as required.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishments when necessary.
- Drive to various locations as needed for cleaning assignments.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and inquiries.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential for effective communication.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues.
- Good communication skills to ensure clear understanding of tasks and responsibilities.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles due to location
