Job Overview
We are looking for an individual to fill the position of fire fighter/refueller/handler. This role involves responding to emergency calls within the airfields ATZ, fuelling aircraft around the site and handling of aircraft in and out of their hangers. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a willingness to learn. Previous experience preferred but not essential. Driving licence with 2 years minimum experience required, LGV Cat C desirable. Regular training and courses carried out. You will be working as part of a team but will also be expected to think on your feet and work solo. Must live within a 25-mile radius of the airfield. Working on a monthly rota basis, this will mostly follow a 3 on, 3 off shift patten but can change to meet the company’s requirements. Winter hours are 08:30 to 17:00 and the summer hours are 08:30 to 19:00. 24 days paid holiday per year. Uniform and PPE provided.
