Multi Skilled Static Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical Bias)

Monday – Friday | 40 Hours Per Week | 8am – 4:30pm
Salary up to £40,000
We are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Static Engineer with a Mechanical & Electrical bias to join a well-established building services provider operating across commercial environments in the North West.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable, long-term position within a professional and supportive team environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, fault finding and repair work across a wide range of building services systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance to SFG20 standards
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across electrical and mechanical systems
- Work on HVAC systems, BMS systems, water systems and general building services plant
- Complete periodic inspections and testing
- Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety procedures and permit systems
- Maintain accurate records using CAFM systems
- Liaise professionally with clients, subcontractors and internal teams
- Support the day-to-day operation of critical building systems
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working within commercial building services
- Strong experience with electrical systems and HVAC maintenance
- 18th Edition qualification essential
- Recognised electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds / EAL Level 3
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working within commercial facilities environments
- Strong communication and organisational skills
