Duties
- Assist with meal preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety and hygiene standards
- Handle food safely during preparation, storage, and serving to prevent contamination
- Prepare ingredients for service, including portioning and garnishing dishes as needed
- Support food service operations by helping with plating and serving meals in a timely manner
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to meet health regulations
Qualifications
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
- Willingness to follow instructions carefully and uphold hygiene standards
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for eager learners
- Must be available Wednesday and Thursday evening
