Job Overview:We are currently seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and packages in a timely manner to various locations.Responsibilities:- Safely drive a delivery van to transport goods to customers- Load and unload items from the van at delivery points- Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues- Perform warehouse duties as required, including heavy lifting- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on timeExperience:- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is advantageous- Commercial driving experience is preferred- Ability to drive and operate a van safely and efficiently- Familiarity with local areas and routes- Strong communication skillsBenefits:- Competitive salary- Opportunities for career progressionRequirements:- Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points- Excellent driving record- Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks- Good organisational skills for planning delivery routes- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends when required
