Criteria:
Registered Nurse (RN Adult for adult clinical areas or RN Child for children’s areas (Level 1 or 2)
Recognised teaching/assessing qualification or equivalent experience of teaching and assessment
Evidence of continued professional development
Willing to undergo training as necessary
Post registration qualification in specialty (desirable)
Nurse Prescribing qualification (desirable)
Significant and recent relevant experience working as a Band 5 Staff Nurse or equivalent post registration experience within speciality
Understanding of current issues in healthcare
Experience of clinical audit and standard setting (desirable)
Service development and/or change management (desirable)
Compassionate and caring
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Ability to organise and prioritise own and other’s workload.
Motivator of self and others with a positive approach to change
