We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Supervisor to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until their departure. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of hospitality, from serving food and beverages to maintaining a welcoming environment.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high-quality presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and dining areas.
- Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience through excellent guest services and upselling techniques.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a front of house role.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and basic food preparation techniques.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience in kitchen or culinary roles is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
