Account Manager – Luxury Fragrance (Department Store)
Job Summary
Responsible for driving sales, delivering an exceptional client experience, and representing a premium luxury fragrance house within a department store environment. Build lasting customer relationships, achieve commercial targets, and uphold the highest standards of brand presentation while collaborating with store management and the wider retail team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service by providing tailored fragrance consultations and product recommendations.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets, KPIs, and business objectives.
- Develop and maintain a loyal client base through relationship building, follow-up, and clienteling activities.
- Educate customers on fragrance collections, ingredients, craftsmanship, and product heritage.
- Ensure the counter is maintained to the highest standards of visual merchandising, cleanliness, and stock presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels, replenish stock, and support stock management processes.
- Execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and in-store events to drive customer engagement.
- Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue and customer conversion.
- Build strong relationships with department store management and colleagues to maximise business opportunities.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally, ensuring a premium customer experience.
- Complete administrative tasks, including sales reporting and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in luxury retail, beauty, fragrance, cosmetics, or premium customer service.
- Strong sales and clienteling skills with a track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for luxury products and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Confident in conducting personalised consultations and building long-term customer relationships.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Commercially aware with an understanding of retail KPIs and sales performance.
- Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and peak trading periods.
