Background
Skin Sensations is a successful nail, beauty and laser clinic established in 2019 in Maidenhead, Berkshire. Following our move to larger premises earlier this year, we now seek an additional team member.
As is common in the beauty industry, this role will be self-employed with a generous percentage of sale given plus product commission and tips.
This role will include working three out of four Saturdays, and at least one late evening during the week, with exact days and hours to be agreed.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and professional Beauty and Nail Technician to join our professional team. As the ideal candidate, you will be experienced in waxing, facials, eye lash and brow tinting and lamination and able to provide manicures and pedicures including gel polish with immaculate attention to detail. The position is suitable for individuals passionate about beauty and personal care, who are capable of providing exceptional service for our Clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail and beauty treatments.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and sterilisation in all tools and work areas.
- Ensure client comfort throughout treatments by delivering friendly and professional service.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximise client satisfaction and salon productivity.
- Uphold health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Must have at least Level 2 Beauty (Level 3 preferred).
- Minimum two years salon experience.
- Must be E-drill trained.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Organised with attention to detail to deliver precise and high-quality treatments.
- Ability to work to time and follow protocols
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings as required.
