A temporary to permanent opportunity is available for HGV Class 1 Drivers to support transport operations in the Ashby-de-la-Zouch area. This is a day-shift role offering competitive hourly pay and weekly payment.

Key responsibilities
- Completing planned deliveries and collections safely and on time
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly
- Ensuring loads are secure and handled in line with required procedures
- Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
- Following drivers’ hours, working time and road safety regulations
- Representing the business professionally at delivery and collection locations
- Keeping the vehicle clean, secure and in good working order
Skills and qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence, Category C+E
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Valid digital tachograph card
- Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience
- Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach
- Professional communication skills and a responsible attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively
