This long-term position has arisen due to a member of staff taking long-term sickness leave and will continue until July 2027, with the potential to become a permanent position from September 2027.

The Role
As a Biology Teacher, you will:
- Teach Biology across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
- Deliver Chemistry and Physics to Key Stage 4
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and inspiring Science lessons
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
- Work collaboratively within a high-performing Science department
- Inspire students with a genuine passion for Biology and scientific discovery

The Ideal Biology Teacher
The successful Biology Teacher will:
- Hold UK QTS (or be due to achieve it)
- Have the ability to teach Biology to Key Stage 5
- Be confident teaching Chemistry and Physics to Key Stage 4
- Have excellent classroom management skills
- Be passionate about raising achievement and inspiring young people
- Be suitable as either an ECT or an experienced teacher
