We are looking for a full-time mechanical fitter to carry out repairs to pumps and other mechanical equipment, Works will be carried out on sites in London and the South East. Candidates should have a good mechanical background and be able to work under pressure and have a flexible approach to work. Also, the candidate will be asked to work overtime when necessary.
Candidates should have good communication skills and be able to work as a member of a busy team.
In house and manufacturer training will be given along with health & safety courses.
Engineers and Fitters are hourly paid with a standard week of 40 hours.
Standard hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm. With an onsite time of 9.00am. 20-days holiday per year.
Most work is within the M25 and candidates should have experience of driving in London.
Candidates should live within 35 miles of the office in Rochester.
A company van will be supplied.
Salary subject to experience. + Company Pension Scheme.
