PART-TIME BEAUTY THERAPIST
Luxe Hair Bar | Wickford, Essex
Permanent employed position | Three days per week | Commission structure
Due to continued growth and increasing client demand, we’re looking for an experienced Beauty Therapist to join our award-winning hair and beauty team at Luxe Hair Bar.
The position will begin with three days per week, including Saturdays, with the opportunity to increase your hours and progress to full-time as demand continues to grow.
ABOUT THE ROLE
BIAB is one of our most popular and in-demand services, so you must be highly skilled, confident and genuinely passionate about creating beautiful BIAB nails.
Alongside BIAB, you must be fully trained and confident in delivering a wide range of beauty treatments, including:
- Manicures and pedicures
- Massage
- Facials
- Waxing
- Brow shaping and tinting
- Lash tinting
- Other core beauty treatments
You will provide every treatment to a consistently high standard while delivering the professional, welcoming and luxury experience Luxe Hair Bar is known for.
We are an award-winning salon and will continue entering industry awards. We’re looking for someone who wants to get involved, grow with us and strive for success as part of the whole team.
The role will also include:
- Building strong and lasting client relationships
- Managing appointments and supporting reception when needed
- Contributing to the salon’s Instagram content by capturing and sharing your work
- Taking part in awards, team activities and ongoing education
- Supporting the general day-to-day running of the salon
- Maintaining excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Helping and supporting the wider team wherever needed

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must:
- Hold a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 beauty qualification
- Have been fully qualified for at least one year
- Have a minimum of one year’s salon experience, with two years preferred
- Be highly skilled and confident in BIAB
- Be confident carrying out a full range of beauty treatments
- Have excellent knowledge of hygiene, client care and treatment safety
- Be available to work Saturdays

WORKING HOURS
The position will begin with three days per week, with the exact weekday schedule to be agreed. Saturdays are an essential part of the role.
PAY
Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience, plus commission. The full pay and commission structure will be discussed during the interview.
START DATE
We are looking for someone to join us around September or October 2026. However, we are happy to wait for the right person who genuinely fits our team and shares our standards and values.

The treatment list is not exhaustive, and any additional treatment skills or qualifications would be welcomed. The full treatment menu, responsibilities, working hours and commission structure will be discussed in more detail during the interview.
