Senior Dispute Resolution Lawyer – Partner‑Level Platform

Goldfinch & Partners is partnering with a pioneering, fully virtual law firm to support its London growth plans. We are seeking experienced dispute resolution lawyers operating at partner level who are looking for a modern, flexible platform to build and grow their practice without the constraints of traditional office‑based firms.
This opportunity is ideal for senior commercial litigators, arbitration practitioners and disputes specialists with an existing book of business or a clear ability to generate work. You will join a distributed team of self‑employed global partners, benefit from a proven back‑end infrastructure, and retain a significantly higher share of your billings than in conventional partnership models.

What you will do
- Act for commercial clients in high‑value disputes, litigation and arbitration matters, typically at partner or lead counsel level.
- Originate and manage your own matters, from initial scoping through to resolution (negotiated settlements, mediation, arbitration or trial).
- Develop and grow your client base, using the platform’s brand, network and flexibility to support business development.
- Collaborate with other partners on multi‑disciplinary mandates, including corporate, finance, IP, employment and regulatory disputes where relevant.
- Maintain high standards of client service and ensure all work complies with professional and regulatory requirements.
What we’re looking for
- Qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 8 years’ post‑qualification experience in dispute resolution, commercial litigation or arbitration.
- Current or recent experience at partner, counsel or senior associate level in a recognised commercial practice.
- A demonstrable book of clients or a strong track record of originating matters and winning work, with the appetite to continue building a personal practice.
- Confidence operating without traditional office infrastructure, and the discipline to manage your own time, clients and workload within a virtual environment.
- Commercial, pragmatic approach and the ability to build long‑term relationships with business clients.
Remuneration and structure
- Self‑employed partner engagement with earnings based on a fixed percentage of collected fees.
- No minimum billable hours; you control your workload and income.
- Full remote working, with access to shared resources and a recognised brand rather than physical offices.
