Job description
Purpose of Post:
To ensure production machines are maintained to the required standards and that all machine interventions are dealt with accordingly. To assist, where required, with operational roles.
Key Responsibilities / Duties / Accountabilities:
· To ensure you understand and comply with all company policies and procedures in relation to health, safety and hygiene at work.
· Comply with the BRCGS & any other quality related standards the business employs.
· Responsible for breakdowns, product changeovers and maintenance of high volume, hydraulic, injection moulding machines.
· Repair any equipment as required, within your remit.
· Complete services and other machine interventions in a timely manner, in line with operating procedures.
· Work as part of a three-person team doing machine starts and stops, mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic servicing and repairs.
· Ensuring all repairs comply with statutory regulations.
· Perform quality checks when required, reporting any issues to the duty shift manager/quality facilitator.
· Ensure designated area(s) are clean, tidy and safe.
· Perform machine cleaning and hygiene clearance duties.
· Follow all company policies and procedures, reporting any issues to the duty shift manager.
Other Responsibilities and Duties
· Support the manufacturing team as necessary and perform operational roles, as required.
· Take part in housekeeping, 5s and GMP.
· Undertake any other activity as required by the business.
Beyond the starting rate, pay is dependent on experience.

Salary: £38,591 to £49,314 per year, dependent on experience

- Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualification(s)
- GCSE or equivalent (required)
