Quantum Survey & Project Management are seeking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager with strong office management and business support/PA skills. We’re a surveying practice based in Weston super Mare, with colleagues across the country. Our team of surveyors spend a lot of time on the road and require the support of a capable office manager with responsibility for all finance tasks.
This is a varied role that will require someone who is keen to be involved and adapt to the needs of the business. You’ll be expected to take responsibility of everything accounts related, whilst helping with diary bookings and ordering office supplies, ensuring the smooth running of the office.
The role will include:
- Daily use of Sage 50
- All Sales and Purchase invoice processing
- Bank Reconciliation & Payments
- Managing Aged Debtors
- Quarterly VAT Returns
- Monthly Payroll & Yearend
- Monthly CIS Returns
- Fixed Asset Register
- Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts (accruals, prepayments)
- Preparing the yearend accounts for the external accountants
- Basic IT support for the team (desirable, but not essential)
- Managing all the office utilities, supplies, IT and phone contracts
- Managing the company vehicle fleet (insurance, road tax, servicing)
- Various Administration across the company
- Assisting the Director with PA tasks
Experience/Qualifications:
- AAT qualification or minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- Must have strong experience of Sage 50
- Must have payroll experience – (Sage One Payroll desirable, but not essential)
- Experience of CIS
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
- Familiar with Office 365 Admin (desirable, but not essential)
- Knowledge of insurance industry (beneficial, but not essential)
- Ability to work autonomously
