About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a values-driven fostering organisation seeking an experienced Supervising Social Worker to support foster carers and help achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
In this role, you will:
- Support and supervise foster carers, empowering them to provide high-quality therapeutic care
- Safeguard children and promote their welfare and development
- Manage a small caseload (typically up to 13 families)
- Build strong relationships with carers, colleagues, and external agencies
- Contribute to assessments, attend meetings, and maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with fostering regulations, safeguarding standards, and childcare legislation

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
- Experienced in fostering and confident managing a caseload
- Knowledgeable in safeguarding, fostering regulations, and childcare law
- Personable, reflective, and skilled at building trusting relationships
- Collaborative, creative, and driven to make a difference
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to a vehicle
